Massive Quantum supplies high quality coconut shell, wood and coal based Activated Carbon, available in three forms: powder, granular and extruded. Activated carbon, also called activated charcoal, is a form of carbon that has been treated with steam to create a vast number of tiny pores to increase the surface area and make the material suitable for adsorption, a process which removes contaminants from water, air, liquids and gases. Each form of activated carbon is available in varying sizes that are suited to various applications such as removal of pollutants, decolourisation, filtration and purification of liquids and gases, as well as precious metal recovery and refining (such as gold absorption).

Massive Quantum adds value by removing spent carbon from water treatment filters and replacing with fresh carbon. A carbon activity test is performed prior to replacement with new carbon to ensure that the client does not do unnecessary replacements or late replacements. Timing of replacements is critical as it ensures consistent water quality and cost savings. Late replacements are detrimental to water quality, process efficiency and equipment. In addition to activated carbon, we also provide sand and stone, both consumables are pivotal in the water purification process which follows the percolation phenomenon. The goal is to make sure our clients maintain the cleanest water levels for their ever expanding and high demand processes.

These submersible pumps have a 25-year maintenance-free lifespan, and can be customized to suit the specific applications and specifications of our clients.

Kensil comes in various grades and particle sizes to suit various applications. The product is mainly comprised of silica and made up of fossilized diatoms which consist of tiny pores that gives Kensil excellent permeability to trap unwanted suspended solids from liquids in the Food & Beverage industry. It is also used as a flattening and matting agent in Paints; and a functional filler in the plastic, cement, rubber, and paper industries. In agriculture, it is used as a soil conditioner, an animal feed additive and anticaking agent in fertilizer production.
